To Reflect the Heart of Christ and Lead People to Him
WHAT WE SEE
We see a church that reflects the heart of Christ in our world, united by His cause, driven by the Great Commission and led by his Spirit. A church where Jesus is always at the centre, where people are our heart and the world our mission field. A church that brings glory to God in everything we do.
We see a church that's like family, so loving, authentic, embracing, non-judgmental and accepting - where people truly can come as they are and say 'This is Home'. A home where people can belong, find their identity and purpose in Christ, do life together and build strong and healthy relationships with one another.
We see a church that raises, equips and empowers generations of leaders and influencers, men and women that fulfil their God-given purpose and potential, see the dream in their hearts fulfilled, thrive in life and change their world. A church filled with people that sees God moving powerfully in and through their lives and whose hearts are about building and lifting the lives of others.
We see a church so passionate about lifting high the name of Jesus, exploding with exuberant heart-felt worship and ushering in the manifest presence of God. A church that births anointed songs of praise and worship that reach across the earth - drawing people closer to Jesus, bringing freedom and leading people to encounter His presence.
We see a church for the city, whose light shines so bright in the midst of darkness - bringing hope and helping people find healing and freedom. A church constantly moved with love and compassion for the hurting and the broken that responds by reaching out to people, meeting the needs of our community and making a difference in our city.
We see a church of influence, that dreams big with an ever-expanding global vision, constantly pioneering and taking new ground. A church that changes culture and mindsets, and is unafraid to pay the price to see revival in our city, our nation and the nations of the world.
We see a church carrying a life-giving message that reaches out to the rest of the globe - rooted in scripture, flowing with the love and grace of Christ, full of faith and hope - speaking right into people's everyday lives. A church that is consumed and transformed by the Word of God, boldly proclaiming the Gospel and unashamed of the truth.
We see a church that's committed to making disciples of Christ and raising an army of soul winners who will do whatever it takes to reach the lost and are so passionate to see people come to know their Saviour. A church that constantly witnesses multitudes of people give their lives to Christ, grow in their relationship with Him and carry their own life-changing stories wherever they go.
We see a church that's a house of prayer, whose people are full of the Spirit, faith-filled, spiritually hungry for revival and expectant to see the Spirit move. A church that’s reliant on the leading of the Holy Spirit, witnessing His power at work with miracles, signs and wonders following.
We see a church filled with people that have a contagious joy, generous and excellent in spirit, faithful and great stewards of what's in their hands - using their gifts, abilities and resources to serve the body of Christ and see the advancement of His kingdom here on earth.
