About SoulCity Kids
Firstly, welcome! SoulCity Kids is the kids ministry at SoulCity. It consists of a weekly program each Sunday that runs simultaneously with the weekend church service. It’s a brilliant opportunity for your kids to be in a positive peer environment and learn about Jesus in a way that will empower them to make right choices and live out their dreams!
The SoulCity kids team love children and consider it a great honour to be serving the children of our church community. We take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun and relevant. During our weekend church services we provide quality, age specific programs with craft, music and Bible teaching.
Our Age Specific Programs
Cubby House (Ages 1-2 years)
In Cubby House we have designated a room for 1 to 2 year olds with toys and activities tailored to the needs of each age group. Our desire for cubby house is for your children to make friends for life while learning about how much God loves them. Here, the Bible is taught in a fun and interactive way and we hope that your child will love coming to Cubby House and you will love bringing them to a safe and nurturing environment.
All-Stars (Ages 3-6 years)
Your children will learn about the Bible and their relationship with God, in ways that are simple, creative and fun. Children in All-Stars will begin to form lasting friendships during the program. All-stars children will enjoy our praise and worship time with songs and together with a team who will lead them in dance and actions.
Child Care Policy
Our kids programme is for children aged 1 to 6 only at this point.
Every child must be registered and checked-in at the registration desk. All kids will be given a sticker once registered.
Children who are sick with contagious diseases within the last 24-48 hours will not be allowed to join the program.
Any nappy change for babies will not be done by teachers. The parent of the child needing nappy change will be contacted to do so.
The ratios of teachers and kids are 1:3 for (Cubby house: Age 1-2), 1:6 for (All-Stars: Age 3-6) and 1:10 for (Voltage: Age 7-12)
