AARON & LITSA
Aaron and Litsa Francis are the founders and Lead Pastors of SoulCity KL. After meeting in Bible College in 2010, they were married two years later and have been pastoring in Malaysia for the past 10 years. Together they are a dynamic couple that are passionate to see the church reflect the heart of Christ in Malaysia. They are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Scarlett and Jordan.
Aaron Francis
Aaron was born in Ipoh and raised in a church that his parents had pioneered. He was involved in the worship ministry from a very early age and has lead various worship teams in many worship events and youth movements locally and internationally, across his teenage and young adult years. After being a part of a church plant in KL, he pursued his calling into full time ministry and went to Hillsong college in Sydney where he studied Pastoral Leadership for 3 years. It was during that time that God began stirring His heart for Malaysia and igniting a deep passion within him to build a church that would influence the nation. On obeying the call and mandate, he returned to Malaysia and together with Litsa, they have been pastoring for the last 10 years.
Aaron is a driven, visionary leader with a passion for worship and preaching the Word, that when paired together forms a unique calling. He has always had a heart to see people come to know Christ, discover their purpose and see their potential unlocked. He carries a burning God-desire to plant a thriving church in Malaysia that will impact this nation and the world.
Litsa Francis
Litsa was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She accepted Christ as a high schooler at 15 years of age at Hillsong Church in Sydney and was a committed member of the church for 11 years. She was involved in various leadership positions within the young adult’s ministry and was a staff member at Hillsong Hills as an Event Coordinator. In 2010, following a strong call from God, she stepped out of her role to study Pastoral Leadership at Hillsong Leadership College and pursue full-time pastoral ministry. There she met Aaron and they were married 2 years later. They moved to Malaysia where they have resided for the past 10 years.
Litsa is a gifted leader and communicator, carrying a joyful spirit. She has a heart-felt passion and desire to build a strong and healthy local church and impact nations through the message of Christ. Her heart is to see people come to know Jesus and see generations of women rise up and be empowered to make a difference in their world.
